1 Kings 8:61 (KJV)
Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes, and to keep His commandments, as at this day.
We’ve spent the month of May discovering where your relationship is with Jesus Christ and some possible reasons why you’re not where you need to be. It’s now time to make the decision, if you haven’t already, to boldly go forward. Are you ready to give your life to Jesus Christ? Are you ready and willing to go all in and all out for your God?
As we explored last week faith requires action.
Just like the early missionaries to Africa who packed their belongings in their coffin. They went all in knowing they would never see home again.
Or the famous Spanish explorer, Hernan Cortes, who ordered the ships to be taken apart so they had nothing to go back on but had push ahead. Another all-in moment.
Or David when he went and fought Goliath. I would call that an all-in moment.
My all-in moment was getting baptized and my life has totally been transformed since that decision.
It’s now time for you to decide if you’re going all in.
You may still have some fears and doubt but trust in God. If you go all-in for Him, I promise you He’ll never disappoint you and He is faithful.
Action Plan: Pray to God this week asking Him what your all-in moment should be. How can you express that you’ve gone all-in for God and that there’s no going back? You have no plan B or C to fall back on. It’s plan A or nothing.
